EDIT: Double-check in the tech tree (top right corner or T) to see if you have the pre-requisite technologies already.
Just to double-check, are you on the demo or on the full game?
If that mod is doing what I think it's doing, you should turn it off and never turn it back on.
If it's doing what I think it's doing, it's essentially cutting out the entire craft and just immediately dumping an additional copy of the item into your inventory using lua script. Which bypasses actual triggers on several things, including notifying the game that the player finished crafting something.
Which will break a number of technology unlock triggers that require you to craft something.
I.e. it is fundamentally incompatible with the game progression and will hard lock you, numerous times.
