Calcite powered space station, is it viable?
Trying to figure it if it is worth building a calcite powered station (opposed to solar or nuclear).

Since one can make sulphur, iron plates, water and calcite in space, do the numbers add up to net positive energy output if calcite + sulphuric acid steam generation?

Has anyone tried it yet? I am successfully using calcite power in on Vulcanus.

Do you mean using the acid neutralisation recipe on a platform for energy? That recipe is only available on vulcanus

right, interesting limitation, I guess the devs didn't want for people to use that for power outside of the Vulcanus.

Nuclear power that is then...

you got high temperature steam too easy and will break the game balance.
