How can you interact with the lower level, for example? How can you even see it if a higher platform covers it? The game was designed to be two dimensional. Glueing a third dimension to it won't work very well. You'd have to design it with that goal in mind from the start.
Satisfactory is a similar factory building game which does go in 3D. You might want to check it out if you really want to build a factory in 3D.
similar to the fadey foam? forgive me if Its the wrong foam, in cubic castles , when you step under a ceiling, you instantly see everything THROUGH your ceiling on your floor, would be fun. and yeah, pretty simple right?
