Is there a way to delete several items at once like belts or Electric poles?

For example I have 50 belts heading toward furnaces and or my boiler but now want to change direction. Do I have to tediously right click 1 section at a time to delete each belt or is there a way to delete it in bulk?

With bots, the Deconstruction tool, red square on the toolbar, will make the bots do it and you can drag over an area. If you don't have bots yet, then, no luck, right-click on each. It is a little faster if you can line up the character with the side of the belt and hold right-click while walking. You will move slower than normal, but each piece of belt will get deleted and it's faster than walk, right-click, walk.

Also, if you have researched steel axe, mining/pick up stuff gets twice as fast.

Additionally, if you just need to change the direction of the belts, but keep them in the same spot, you can just overwrite them with the new direction instead of deleting.

For belts reversing direction is a matter of drop and drag just like you can do when laying them out.

Or a rocket fueled tank. Be warned, it's not a very precise method if you use it in your base, though. ;)

Yeah, you dont have to tediously right click each thing. Put your mouse in a specific spot, hold right click, WASD- Anything the cursor passes over while right click is held will get picked up. For a belt you just walk along and boom, gone.

Construction bots 100% make it way better though.

For reversing belts before bots I typically just place them on top of the old ones. It's as fast as building them in the first place.
