Space age. First time on Fulgore. Drop location issue

Guys, I've just dropped off on Fulgore without any staff with me. I'm trying now to drop metal plates from space platform but i can't find shuttle on surface.
1) Is it possible to find my shuttle from platform?
2) Can i (as character) jump from space station with loot?

you should be able to highlight it on the map/remote view via the search

They are in the same place you have landed. You have no loot when on space platform and you can't put anything in the inventory.

If you don't pick up a drop pod, the game will eventually give you an alert about it, which you can follow to its precise location.

I... don't know if drop pods can be damaged, though. Can lightning blast them and destroy the contents?

I also advise not running towards them as they land. They can flatten you :P

My drop onto Fulgora was a tiny unusable island. Recommend to drop down the cargo landing pad (you should always bring one), and put it into your inventory. Then run around Fulgora looking for a better place to set up base and build the landing pad there before dropping down the rest of the supplies.

That stumped me too the first time. I was running around Fulgura to find that perfect island, and then I dropped down the landing pad (thinking it would land near my engineer). Had to backtrack all the way to the original landing location to find it.

Yes they can!

If you did drop things from the platform (and that platform is above the same planet of course), unless you have a cargo landing pad you will have cargo pods appear soon after somewhat close to where you initially landed.

If it's night time (lightning storm) then it is possible for the pod to be damaged (and rather quickly destroyed) unless it is covered by a lightning attractor (or later on lightning rods).

You don't have an inventory while on the platform, that's why you need to empty it before going there and you need to drop items from the platform as well.

My first shuttle with cargo seems to bug, because after launch i switched to Novus (maybe it broke smth in game code) and it never land on Fulgore
But i found second shuttle via map ping and then i get my landing platform from space station!

Dunno, it was quite obvious to me that they would be where i landed first.
