Is the mech armor inherently slower than other armors?

I've got two additional exoskeletons in it compared to my Power Armor Mk. II and it feels slower.

If you're flying, you don't get movement speed bonuses from concrete and such.

I don't remember noticing any difference when I switched from Power Armor Mk II to my Mech Suit.

It kinda does feel slower, yeah. Not sure if it's just a feeling or you are actually slower. Maybe when you are flying exoskeleton doesn't work? Maybe some inherent movement penalty.

It does feed you ammo from inventory which is kinda nice.

If you feel too slow, stuff it with more exoskeletons....
