Gleba concrete placement
Is there any way to automatically place concrete everywhere on Gleba, except for the green and purple biomes? Let's assume I have unlimited amounts of everything except the time to do it manually.

This is the only part of Gleba I find irritating: you depend on areas that are not only predefined and immovable but also so frustratingly hard to distinguish among all the shades of green, brown, and purple. Especially since half of the green isn't even part of the green biome.

Whenever I want to put concrete anywhere, I just mark out an area that I want my bots to cover with it, and let them do the work.

Well, maybe my question is worded in a way that’s hard to understand.

What I want is to place concrete everywhere except in the fertile biomes, which have complex shapes you can't mark directly.

And I can’t find a way to place concrete only on useless soil, so I could finally see the shape of the fertile regions without straining my eyes and play Gleba semi-comfortably.

the artificial soils ONLY place down in areas they can be used
Yes, I could pave everything with overgrown soils, but I’d still have an indistinguishable mess of artificial and natural soils. Slightly less indistinguishable, but still a mess.

I just want to pave all the useless soil so I can see what’s what before planning the perfect base.
You can't pave over those areas, so your only option would be to see if a mod will do it

This probably doesn't solve your problem, but in the map overview you can type the biome names in the search to have them light up like you would with ores.
Just pave everything, then go back over it with the soil to replace the concrete after it is placed. Use the map search to get a general idea of where the soil ought to go.

Also, as was mentioned, you cannt pave over the native soil, so you should be able to get a good idea from the exposed soil as to where to place the fake soil.

Nevermind, that wont work lol

Yeah, I tried that. I even tried to write a mod already, but the problem is there’s no "forbid to place on the tile" option for tile placement—only an "allow" list for tiles.

When I add everything but artificial soils to the "allow" list for concrete, it still places it over artificial soils because there’s always something "allowed" underneath the artificial soil.
Guess I found the solution

1 Pave everything that could be paved with artificial soils
2 Pave everything including it with concrete
3 Ctrl-Shift remove artificial soils using the custom deconstruction planner set to artificial soils and "only" mode. It'll remove concrete above it as well.
4 Repave everything that could be paved with artificial soils again

I really need to speak with you. I am sorry
