Wow. Logistics are NOT worth it.
Just. Wow.

Just let me plug my damned personal roboport into the grid, so much simpler.

Logisitcs is clunky, requires you to rebuild your *entire base* around these 50x50 and 110x110 logisitics and construction areas

Which is really annoying.

rebuilt my entire power supply and storage and tried to use the personal roboports but they're slow charging

Tried using roboports and... what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess.

Because the supply area is only 50/50 and 110/110 I have to continually pick up and move everything around to rebuild
Or build it around roboports
and I am not going to be forced to design my base around roboports.

To Hell With That.

Welcome to factorio. This is what the game is really about.

This should be more about efficiency than... idiocy.

Roboports are *not* efficient and the only REAL THINGs they have going for them is logistic chests have massively more room in them than your inventory and they're on the grid.

I just want to be able to plug my ass into the grid.
That would solve all my problems.

Not a single mod that allows you to plug your armor into the grid.

jesus.

The real power of roboports is construction robots. Once you have 200+ construction robots they will build and unbuild much much faster than a player ever could. Logistic robots are also much faster than inserters once you have enough of them and they don't need belts. It is a bigger investement to get them running but once you do your progress becomes exponential. Something that mere players could never hope to achieve.

I can easily beat out a roboport for construction
having to move them around or build my base around them is idiotic.

If I could grid my armor I could have 20 port mk2s with a row of batteries.

Mk4 armor mod, tons of slots for roboports and energy

Induction charging mod to charge from the grid, but it may not be up to date.

Hahaha. Nice joke. You are suffering from not understanding the game mechanics and being too stubborn to try and learn them. Because I quarantee you no player can beat roboports with hundreds of construction robots in building.

I guarantee I can.
Faster. Easier. Doesn't require rebuilding my entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ base around laughably limited roboports.

Each roboport has 4 charging stations and 350 robots.
Each personal roboport has 4 charging stations and 25 robots.

Much faster charging, the only problem is the downtime on the fusion generator.

(what downtime on the fusion generator, they generate power constantly)

SInce you seem to not understand how roboport work, here is a tip, you can extend the area of a roboport's network by connecting roboports together.
All you need to do is to put the new roboport in a position where the smaller area of both touch each other, it will show you a dotted line to symbolize the connection.

You can create a network like this to cover everything that you need, many people use this to cover their whole factory in a single network so it has access to everything (even if it's a bit subpar due to how robots work but they just use more robots to compensate).

To recharge they go to the nearest roboport that belongs to their network so if you do iy properly you can avoid having a hundred robots waiting for recharge at the same roboport.

It's up to you if you don't want to blanket your base like that but just say that it's your choice and not that the game makes them not worth it because that's simply not true.

This has got to be a troll post.

Yeah sorry. Everyone who understands even half of how this game works will disagree with you. Tell me when you manage to build a 2000 solar panels and accumulators blueprint in 20 seconds with your puny personal roboport.

The downtime between charges.

Maybe your base game fusion generator works differently than mine does.

20 seconds, nice timing.

Oh wait, you didn't account for the time to layout all the roboports, fill them with robots, fill the chests with materials

So you're up to several hours now.

Generously let's call it 5 hours and 20 seconds

Aim a bit higher next time, 10k panels and 10k accumulators.
And lie a little less.

Generators are constant output, your bots are using more to charge so your batteries deplete and have to recharge. Effectively it don't really matter, but the point is the battery storage is your weak point, not the generator. Use more generators and batteries to give you a bigger energy buffer.

Yes it's definitely a troll post. Or someone having trouble with elementary problem solving skills. Either way, I suggest you stop responding here.
