Roboports are *not* efficient and the only REAL THINGs they have going for them is logistic chests have massively more room in them than your inventory and they're on the grid.
I just want to be able to plug my ass into the grid.
That would solve all my problems.
Not a single mod that allows you to plug your armor into the grid.
jesus.
I can easily beat out a roboport for construction
having to move them around or build my base around them is idiotic.
If I could grid my armor I could have 20 port mk2s with a row of batteries.
Induction charging mod to charge from the grid, but it may not be up to date.
I guarantee I can.
Faster. Easier. Doesn't require rebuilding my entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ base around laughably limited roboports.
Each roboport has 4 charging stations and 350 robots.
Each personal roboport has 4 charging stations and 25 robots.
Much faster charging, the only problem is the downtime on the fusion generator.
SInce you seem to not understand how roboport work, here is a tip, you can extend the area of a roboport's network by connecting roboports together.
All you need to do is to put the new roboport in a position where the smaller area of both touch each other, it will show you a dotted line to symbolize the connection.
You can create a network like this to cover everything that you need, many people use this to cover their whole factory in a single network so it has access to everything (even if it's a bit subpar due to how robots work but they just use more robots to compensate).
To recharge they go to the nearest roboport that belongs to their network so if you do iy properly you can avoid having a hundred robots waiting for recharge at the same roboport.
It's up to you if you don't want to blanket your base like that but just say that it's your choice and not that the game makes them not worth it because that's simply not true.
Make a youtube video. You'll become famous. Instantly.
The downtime between charges.
Maybe your base game fusion generator works differently than mine does.
20 seconds, nice timing.
Oh wait, you didn't account for the time to layout all the roboports, fill them with robots, fill the chests with materials
So you're up to several hours now.
Generously let's call it 5 hours and 20 seconds
Aim a bit higher next time, 10k panels and 10k accumulators.
And lie a little less.
