how do you turn off the grid map?

idk if its from a mod or it building mode but theres a grid thing that wont turn off.

Did you press shift+space?

If the game is also paused, shift+space is what you need.

If not, hit F4 to bring up the debug interface, the "always" tab is where things that show up all the time are, the grid is probably toggled on there.

F5 toggles the options you picked, when pressing F4, to show.
