Biter Eggs n No Enemies

So I've been enjoying my second attempt at the DLC with the biters turned off, and while looking through the tech tree I noticed that a chunk of tech requires biter eggs. Is there any way to get the eggs or am I just locked out of that tech?

Turning Biters off in Space Age should only remove biters from the game, but leave the nests, or so I've heard.

I walked through Nauvis an hour, but didn't found any nests. Did I miss something?
So I dont have any nests with enemies off and can proceed in the game because the eggs are needed for quantum processors and so.

if you don't have any biter nests with enemies turned off, you have a bug

Yes, we found it finally, was longer distance away from the base.
