Rocket silo production on Space Platform?

If i create a Rocket Silo on my space platform can I store it in my station's inventory then travel to another planet and drop it down from orbit? The silo is too heavy to send to your platform, but it looks like I can produce one on the platform itself.

The materials for the platform eat up a lot of inventory I'd like to use to bring other things to Gleba, but this looks like an option to have a platform ready to go and even materials to send myself back up to space after I do my initial setup.

I haven't tested it, but I don't see why not.
Dropping cargo is not limited to weight.
But if you find the answer to this question, please share.

Confirmed, at time of writing can be built, flown and dropped.

I thought the tooltip said the rocket silo is too heavy to be shipped in a rocket ... which make sense, only the engineer pocket can carry that brick.

The question is about crafting the Silo directly in space, then send it down.

Thanks for the great idea! If Dinger's finding holds true and unpatched, then I think that I will use this strat for my first brief expedition to Gleba, which will be a hit&run with prefabbed escape plan with only a single objective: unlock heating tower for use on Fulgora.
