Space Age DLC Price
If you wonder why should you pay the full game price for a dlc then think about this: is there another game that costs less and offers more than what factorio's space age does?
cough* cough* Dyson Sphere Program cough* cough*
Thank me later.
While if you really enjoy this game then you shouldn't complain about the price because you know it's worth every cent you spent on it. Remember that the factory must grow comrade!

Yeah it lacks a bit of optimization especially when at the late game you have multi solar system factory but that's the only downside

I don't like the inability to change key bindings, or move the camera and build without moving the character in Dyson sphere program, I've tried getting into it 4 or 5 times, it's never bit me like factorio, or even satisfactory, has bitten me.

I love Dyson Sphere, but the end-game is pretty rough. Factorio I can play long term whereas I feel like I eventually hit a peak with DSP that makes me start over. Fortunately they have a system for that, but then the beginning of DSP is too annoying for me to want to.

have you tried Riftbreaker then? it's more action than factory but it's getting the co-op update soon

ds is very simple compared to this game. factorio gets improved with mods like pyadons. the only mod ds has is galactic scale which adds nothing except more build space

For late game I used to use a mod that would multiply input/output of buildings. So one would replace 5.. 10.. 20 single version of it. What I liked was that each larger version took more space AND the costs matched the value of building. So if it replaced 20 it cost x20 the resources of one. Power draw included. While in one way was cheaty... over all used less floor space. In end wasnt so cheaty as well.. map is HUGE hehe. But all the costs added up so while used one building it cost equivalent of its multiplier.

While we're talking about reasonably priced alternatives, Mindustry is worth a look. Definitely no where near the same depth but it goes on sale for $4 and I'm pretty sure I paid $1 for it in a Fanatical Bundle and it's provided me with 180 hours of conveyor based fun.

I played Mindustry and I can confirm what you said. It's a little gem that can't really be compared to the other factory games but in its own way makes you enjoy the genre with simple mechanics for a cheap price.

At this point I have to mention Beltmatic.
You can get this game for as little as 5 euros when on sale and it's all about combining numbers to feed the factory's core cube.
You can add, subtract, multiply etc... to unlock new features and upgrades like belt speed, specific number extractors, combining operations speed and so on with very easy to learn and master mechanics. It even has blueprints to copy your factory and paste it wherever you want or a cut feature where you can just move what you've built.

They are just mad because their mom said no expansion for them. They could probably earn $35 working at taco bell in just a couple of hours or so. If work is too hard, they could hold a sign on the side of the road. All of that is still too much work for them, so they come here to whine. It's pathetic, really. I'm glad Wube doesn't bend to their cry bullying and keeps the game full price.

Taking delight at the suffering of others is a very poor way to live. I hope you find happiness and peace soon. Have a blessed day!
