In my region Factorio : SA is hang and swing around at 21+ rank
Top seller is Dragon Ball Sparkling#1 (Stuck at #1 many days now), Monhun Wild(Pre-order) COD 6. Yeah, better wait and see during weekend when people have free game time.
But I doubt it would climb to top 10 until people have more access on "negative" in-depth game review or vtuber do more game stream in my region.
but still #3 and #4 globally - and #2 and #3 in quite a few regions - and the base game has been in the charts for 3 weeks in Czech Republic - home state advantage :-)
but yeah - interesting to see how things change in the different regions and throughout the week - and if the global total stays strong
and obviously prices are different across regions - so people may want to view more content to be sure it's worth it for them
still definitely showing a positive global happiness rating when it comes to Factorio :-)
and player count keeps on rising - already back up to #8 and about to break 90K again :-)
In my region, most player doesn't care "day one" in these type of game genre much. Most will have their handcuff/tie on burning daily-weekly-monthly task/ limited event on most well known live service game.

Let alone going to offline Big event/game collab/vtuber collab/Cosplay Fes a couple time per month for limited item which is now being a norm these day.
i am a single player game player myself - and not the live service versions of those either lol (so no Fallout 76 - and even Elite Dangerous annoyed me that you need to be online just to update the economy, since that is really not necessary to enjoy it)
but yeah - different strokes for different folks in this big wide world :-)
couldn't find your region by the way - i had a look through them all - and i couldn't find anywhere with Dragonball up top - but i did see the different trends between continents and in different parts of continents etc
was interesting :-)
and the live event stuff sounds fun :-)
Damn, with your giving an example of FO76, it is sound to me like you're a World of Warcraft player never touch/try or heard of Final Fantasy live service.
After migration(due to Blizzard being a jerk) to FFXIV Oniline -> receive "Culture shock" due to better living standard and better deliver content.
I feels something like that.
and i have heard of the FF Online games - and i know they are popular - but again - i can't enjoy playing with real people - i prefer (some) real people in real life lol - in a video game give me some AI :-)
also, for me Final Fantasy peaked at FFVII ;-)
(yes, old man who had the first Playstation)
if i would play online multiplayer RPGs i would try Neverwinter (and maybe ESO)
and probably FF Online
but alas - single player is my jam :-)
These days once you get poison by some of them, be ready to say goodbye a large chuck portion among of your free time and farewell to a certain type of time waste/warp offline game.
In the end any choice is good. single player/offline game is great which give you freedom of time, play whenever you like. While good live service game provide you that you don't need to periodically seek buying a new game but enslave your freedom of time and can easily burnout you, if you pick up and play too many named game it is. Cheers mate, gonna watch anime marathon non stop + some snack.
also FO76 came up because it's the MMORPG edition of FO4, and i do like FO4 (despite its issues lol)
but yes - i can understand that for people who are connoisseurs of MMORPGs and other live service games, they were terrible examples lol (especially FO76 which i understand is terrible even if it has improved from its initial state)
anyway - good chat - take it easy mate - enjoy the anime and everything else - and i am sure we will both be interested to see how the charts and player counts do for Factorio over the weekend :-)

(Not me)
Thanks! you enjoy your time too
they were kicking some serious ass though :-)
i guess over the years MMORPGs have taken inspiration from everything - so the combat there is a spectacle fighter like Bayonetta - looks pretty badass :-)
and yeah - if i was to play one i would want one that can be solo'd - but even then - other players would annoy me lol :-)
if i'm gonna be kicking some ass like that i'm gonna be playing something like Horizon Zero Dawn - just me and the NPCs and the robot dinosaurs :-)
anyway - thanks for sharing - take care :-)
but Satisfactory is doing very well - and i am sure was high in the top sellers for a while when it hit 1.0 recently - and still has a high player count - that it may sustain if and when Factorio's player count lowers after the initial hype
but obviously Factorio's count may stay relatively high for a while since we all have this new content to play - and i am sure that there are some new addictions currently taking hold - as well as existing ones going into full relapse (mine included lol - although it never truly went away)
anyway - is a good week for Wube and Factorio and the players - happy days :-)
That's almost always how expansions work. This is why if your game is good enough you make an expansion and not a new game. The purpose of an expansion is to help boost the sales the base game while also making money off of the DLC. If for some reason that's not how it works (mostly old players buy it), then it's a better idea to package the expansion into a new game, because that'll attract more newer players.
