DLC should never cost more than the base game
I don't know where this price is coming from, but it is insanely high. I would spend MAYBE half the price of the base game for a DLC. like $15 at most. Looks like I'm waiting until it's 90% off for the holidays/next year.

I almost never spend more than $25 on a top-down pixel art game with no 3d-graphics. A developer thinking their 2d game is worth $35, let alone the DLC, is nuts.

The value of a DLC should be based on its content, not just its price relative to the base game. WUBE has shown that this expansion is substantial, justifying its price by adding significant new content and gameplay hours.

The price is based on content added. People will pay $15 for a skin.

You may have some personal notion about what DLC should cost, but that has no impact on how the world works.

What you should consider is not caring about what the base cost and consider what the DLC contains. If the DLC does not contain enough for you to justify the price to you, it is as simple as not buying it.

Your thoughts on what you feel the price should not be does not change anything :(

A person crapping on a quality automation game because it's 2D, thinking their opinion is worth anything, let alone correct, is absolutely insane. Go scream into the void, because NO ONE CARES WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY.

The free mods of pre-DLC Factorio already eclipse the DLC.

please explain the substantial part. From what I can see, just more resource and factory. Elevated rail and that's it

Not much new mechanic.

If that's all. I will see wait and see for this DLC>

Yep. It's overpriced. There are zero reasons for DLCs to cost the same or more than the base game.

If you ever bothered to read the FFFs, this isn't just A 'DLC', it's an EXPANSION, roughly doubling the content in the game. There's more than enough content contained in space age to last you a VERY long time.

Agreed. They probably won't even discount or bundle them, but they will raise the price, since they seem to think that's less manipulative than offering a discount.

Dyson Sphere Project, and Satisfactory are better and cheaper than Factorio which is now a $70 game.
