Exploring and figuring out stuff is a big motivation for me, so do yourself a favour and don't look too closely at the Factoriopedia in-game because it contains every resource and building you can eventually build (also all enemies).

Yeah they should hide stuff on other planets until you get there, or maybe a hide unhide button.
Ah well, it's also the joy to build an even bigger base with new goals.
