Why are they quoting Markus "Notch" Persson on their description?
They might want to remove that at some point because he made Minecraft afterall...

There has already been a thread about this as well as another "controversy" like this before.
Plus this is a community forum, if you want to contact the devs this is not the place.

Why? No one is going to go through and retroactively change everything across the entire Internet every time someone says something that makes them an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Get with reality.

I would make a witty retort but valve and their moderators are fascists who censor speech so I wont.

He's a famous person, famous for creating a great game. There are many artists and creators with a troubled personal life. Unless you follow celebrity news you rarely even know about what they do or think in their free time. We can recognize the good they did and not care about their personal life. It would be different if they recognized his hateful views in the description, but they didn't, they just quoted him as a famous game developer liking their game.
Its OK to trash famous people if they vote differently from you (unless of course that garbage person votes the same way that you do in which case you have to ignore the garbage behaviors and defend them to the hilt. Can't afford to lose that vote and that person's army of bots.)

Even if you do follow celebrity news and social media there is no way to know what they really think. And a lot of the time all the bad things people accuse celebrities of being is just single tweets etc taken out of context and if you start reading through more of that persons tweets etc you quickly notice their stance on the subject is more likely to be the exact opposite of what they are accused of. But since the truth would prevent the hate mob from feeling powerful and furthering their agenda by "canceling" yet another "problematic" person the truth is deliberately ignored.

I completely agree. I stopped riding in automobiles last week after I found out that the inventor of the assembly line, Henry Ford, was an anti-Semite. Anyone who works on an assembly line or uses products made on an assembly must therefore support his antisemitism!

Don't forget that some of the technology that makes the internet work was invented by a racist person. So by using the internet you are supporting racism.
