The strategy would be to go around every swamp and lake, destroying any and all rafts while placing solar powered radars behind you as you go to keep an eye on things. -- If rafts are not within your spore cloud, you will not get attacked.
The expansion rate on Gleba is pathetic (when compared to Nauvis), so this will likely give you another +10 hours to figure things out. I would setup artillery and then you just defense your outposts instead of your farms.
I go around my base and clean all enemies at beginning.
They are probably one of the worst weapons in the game.

Unless you like doing defense, but I find it a nuisance to deal with glebas monsters.
You really don't need walls at all for cheesing it. If you push rafts far enough they will basically stop expanding.
