Sandbox mode question
Hello,
I noticed that in 2.0.23 the sandbox mode is back but when I open it everything is locked. I know I can use the console commands to unlock it but I remember the previous sandbox had all the buildings and materials unlocked. Am I missing something?

The sandbox mode started basically like freeplay without a body, but unlike the one they re-added you had some prompts to enable cheats (research all, cheat crafting, always day).
The "new" sandbox mode doesn't have those and as a result is not very useful, at least editor mode has some of those built in (you still need a console command for researching everything though)

Yeah, it's useless. Starting a normal freeplay and typing /editor into the console will do you better. You can still play with "god mode view" via a console command, unlock everything etc.

Why bother starting in freeplay before switching to editor?
You can start in editor directly from the title screen.

Really, how? I honestly didn't see it. There's Sandbox, but that doesn't start in editor mode. The only change compared to free play is god mode view, wich is something very different.

There is "editor" in the title screen, not as a game mode for a new game but a button for it near settings and mods on the title screen.

Indeed, you're right. I think it's because it says "map editor", that I forgot it. Lol.
