How well does the game run on the Steam deck?
I'm highly considering getting a Steam Deck, and i'm looking for Time-sink games for when travelling - Factorio is absolutely a timesink game.

But... How well does it run on it?

As far as I am aware it should run very well. You might not be able to make a massive post game megafactory but it should have no problem getting to the win screen.

Alright, cool.
Just got the Oled 512gb Deck, or rather i just ordered it yesterday. So it, in theory, should be here in 3-5 days...
But seeing as i live in Denmark, not USA, it's possible gonna be delayed.

It runs very (very) well on my own Steam Deck. Probably don't mega-base though... as you'll find that UPS limit pretty early. That being said, for the normal way to play the game, (pushing +5 to 10k bots on nearly every planet) it's totally fine.

I'll just add a note that you might need to play with the graphic settings if you're playing on a higher resolution.... by which I mean if you're playing at 4k, and yes I'm saying it runs mostly fine at 4k when docked most of the time.

The default controller configuration is also completely fine and usable. You might want to add a gyro configuration on top though (...if you're not riding the bus...) as it's a very mouse heavy game, and depends on a lot of pointing and clicking.
