is "logistic network embargo" bugged?

i got this achievement a few years ago but when i started my SA play through i noticed that it showed in game that i didnt have it.
i figured it was because the achievement criteria changed so maybe it got reset in game because of that.
it showed as completed once i got used vulcanus science packs to do research and didnt think much else of it.
today i went to open a new save file to check something and realized that logistic network embargo was showing as uncompleted in the new save file.
bounce back to my first SA file and sure enough, its still showing as complete.

can anyone else verify this happening, or is it just me?

At least your steam achievement show that you have unlocked it "Unlocked 7 Feb, 2021", so if there is something with that achievement it is only ingame.

yeah steam is fine, but every new save file i create shows as if i havent completed it.

Maybe it's a different achievement now?
And you need to unlock it also with the new criteria first?
What if you deactivate space age mods and start a new save vanilla?

Yeah, that's as it should be, because each save file shows what you've completed on that file.

Yeah, that's as it should be, because each save file shows what you've completed on that file.

mmm no thats absolutely not how that works im playing vanilla + space age and i see every single other achievement as completed except for this specific one.

just tried that and it still shows as being incomplete in game.


i did vulcanus research in space age which completed it for specifically that save file, but i havent completed its condition in vanilla since the update.
ill do it in vanilla real quick and see if that gives a different result

no, its always been like this. you can revert to an earlier version and see its been like that for years

so i just completed it in pure vanilla and again it unlocks for that specific save file, but any new game or other save i load shows it as being incomplete.
all other achievements i have show as being completed in game, so i feel like something is very wrong here.

Modded games have separate achievements. Do you have any mods running on that save?

nope, never.
i did it both on space age without any other mods, and i just now completed it on pure vanilla with the same result.

no, its always been like this. you can revert to an earlier version and see its been like that for years

I played the most of the time the standalone variant without steam and mostly modded. I started to play the steam version with space age and got already 50 hours and only scratched the surface.

You might create a bug report in the factorio forum. That way, devs will see it more likely.
