Yeah. It's one thing to use it to help you rewrite your work. It's another to have it write the work for you from scratch, especially if you don't make sure it's correct after. Sooo many incorrect parts. Even the main premise ends up being wrong.

It shows. You managed to write well enough to 'prompt' ChatGPT. You're probably better off to write stuff here and at least know that those seeing it will understand it. Maybe even can help "translate" it into better stuff.

ChatGPT is good at wasting electricity and collecting more user input to train the next model with. Other than that it has no 'real' useful purpose.

Production until the wells have degraded; then speed - is the way to go when oil supply is tight. You can play with the break even point a bit.

Isn't oil a infinite resource? It just degrades but never goes below a certain amount afterward and then you heavily beacon it and it becomes a active oil geyser forever.

That is true enough. The 'problem' is that the processing is often built around a certain supply level and the "base" value is too low. Adding the speed modules can boost it back to a useful rate, at the cost of more power and making beacons fit within the random placement of pumpjacks. Power itself is also infinite - if you build to supply that much. Just one more 'resource' to manage and include in you plans. Factorio, base or SA, is 'easy' with a plan designed for the puzzle, and even the biters can become trivial with a good plan.
