Cargo landing pad requests
Is there a way for the cargo landing pad to automatically send what it needs to a space platform? Such that I can have the platform go back to Nauvis and fetch the stuff, then come back?

Logistics requests in the cargo land bay will request items from any platform in orbit with unload ticked.
Platform requests can be automated by clicking the button on the rocket silo.
The space platform can basically be used like a train with silo's and landing bays acting as stations.

Also any platform in orbit with no planets in the que will unload to local logistics automatically.

Landing pads don't send items, only rocket silo's do that. But yes you can do that by clicking on the platform hub and configuring the transfer conditions, no different from when you setup a train.

But of course you will need a rocket silo, and rockets being built in it, and the items being delivered to it in order for that to work.

The best way to do imports/exports is by setting up a logistics filter in your spaceship. Name the filter, set the loading location, and then select the same logistics filter on your landing pad.
This way, when you update your logistic filter, every landing pad and spaceship is updated simultaneously. You can also set a "times X" on your spaceship to make sure you have plenty of ressources in orbit

oooh, I was messing with this, and it seems pretty cool. Is this a new feature in Space Age?

Yes, just like robots, it's crazy to believe that people played without them before, that's what makes the game great
