They only have 20/20% electric resistance, and the tesla gun would arc through multiple of their body segments compensating for that small amount of resistance with essentially x5 damage.
For Large Demolishers, I put some railguns behind the turret blob. And that did the trick.
i like to stamp down multiple sets of teslatowers behind the worms, easy kills all around.
destroyer-drones work aswell, but you need like 100+ and good electric damage upgrades to kill medium worms. dont even want to think about the large ones.
better go with the tesla towers, they have a way higher base damage and thus work wonders.
I thought they were badly designed because demolishers were an absolute joke.
1 or 3 nuke rockets to the head and kaboom.
Can't ship nukes to orbit you say? Well, you can automate the shipping of the resources and assemble in space. Everything is a factory if you are determined. =P
Vulcanus is 1000 times easier than Nauvis if you don't go there naked.
Sure, the oil/plastics production is bulky and annoying but not difficult. I was simply not expecting to have 20+ refineries in one spot.
Now STARTING on Vulcanus? I can see how that would be very rough.
Uranium supply from Nauvis (the fact that there is no way to deal with them without outer support) is good enough reason to consider them as formidable opponents. I like them as they are, not sure how much more complex should they be in players' opinions...
