How do you remote control a tank?

Go into remote view and click the tank and proceed to push the button that controls it remotely. You are still limited by the radar coverage.

You can drive it out of radar coverage. It just has to be in radar to enter and exit remote mode.

With that in mind: keep radars, power poles, and solar panels inside of the tank, make a blueprint of a self-powering radar, that way if you ever lose it or forget it, you can just plop them down and get some radar coverage to connect to it. On that note, I have no idea why you can plat blueprints outside of radar coverage, but not ghosts.
