Then you just scan the whole map with that planner and find one, or keep exploring if none are there yet.
You can yet many don't. Some from not knowing they can and others for want of a "surprise" when they land. Some don't even preview Nauvis in 1.1. I ain't one of them, but I know some anyway.
It's the most fun map I have ever played (Nauvis). They really did some magic with the map creator. Nice choke points, some islands, cliffs that can easily be used as natural walls with the help of some walls filling the small holes.
For the other 2 planets I visited so far, I feel like it was a mediocre seed. But then I have nothing to compare to. Only thing I know is that if someone handpicked the starting point of the same maps to make my life easier, I would have started in very different locations.
