i mean like is there areas to mine it or is it just the rocks
initially the best way is from rocks once you have artillery you can take some land from the worms and set up some mines there are tungsten patches you will also need the big drill.

Wait, artilleries target demolishers?
Hurkyl Nov 1, 2024 @ 7:48pm
If not, you can manually target artillery (the toolbar has a "make a targeting remote" button)

As Hurkyl said you can manually target with the button(click it then right click where you want to target) you can even use the targeting in remote view so you do not need to be nearby.

I do recommend having a bit of a stockpile and quite a few turrets(5-10) for up to medium worms, 2 things to note are that at least medium worms have a fast regen had one fully regen from almost dead by the time it reached my base so you need to sustain fire on them till they die.

And once Artillery hits the worm the worm will change directions to target the Artillery and they will leave their "Zone" to do so.
or instead of artillerie you just use turrets for the small and when you need to kill the mediums you will already have tesla turrets.........

You can kill Demolishers - at least small ones - pretty easily with just poison or red ammo turrets, no need to build artillery for them.

my tip is to ambush them with tesla towers from behind. the worms can only harm you when you are in front of them, and since they just ignore your character as long as you dont harm them, its easily possible to set up some powerpoles just outside their territory and then plonk down the towers when the time is right.
the lightning bolts jump between the individual segments, wich massively boosts the towers damage.

Driving a tank and using uranium shells so far worked best for me, but I have only killed some small ones yet.

Build a bait building on small worm territory. Start chugging poison grenades at the area ~19 seconds before worm reaches it. Keep chugging poison grenades between you and the worm and finish off with combat shotgun+slugs.

Simple, easy and doesn't need any new tech.

medium worms are unkillable with tanks.... you dont have the firepower for that.....

One tank and less than one stack of normal cannon shells is enough to take out a small demolisher, to get to your first tungsten ore patch. At least if you've researched some levels of physical projectile damage.

I've been using a stack of 50 turrets and red ammo to kill the small demolishers. Will probably need uranium ammo to take down the mediums

Can confirm that a pile of turrets with red ammo with a heavy dose of poison clouds over the top will kill at least the small worms. Best also to try to get the worm to loop around inside the poison cloud to get as much exposure to it as possible.
