Does Space Age DLC make vanilla steam achievements easier or harder?

Should I complete them first before buying the DLC?

You can always disable the expansion mods if you think it would be easier without them. So I would first do an expansion run and then see if there are any where you would want to do them without the expansion afterwards.

only one that's taking a while for me is the no bots as it's now requires getting another planet research, other than that it's pretty much the same.

the only achievement that is easier is sending rocket to space in 8 hours or less. but there is an alternative to beat the game in 40 hours or less for space age. so it even out.

if it is the logistic embargo thingy, then you can still use bots, personal robots and logistic bot, you are just limited to red and yellow chests.
