How do I open the space map and how do I travel to another planet?

I have a space platform with rocket engines and another planet researched. I am sitting on the space platform right now. I want to travel to the other planet.

Yesterday, when I first created the space platform, somehow there was a way I pulled up a full map of space. I assume that that is how you travel to other planets. Now, there is no way to pull up the map. I have clicked every button on the UI and pressed every button on the keyboard. It is impossible.

How do I pull up the map? And how do I travel to another planet??

Why is it so hard to figure this out? Why is there no section in "Tips and Tricks" for how to travel between planets when its one of the CORE MECHANICS of the new DLC? Why do I have to spend 30 minutes googling to find the answer when the only results are 1 hr long youtube videos of some moron blabbering on about the new DLC? No, I'm not going to waste my time skipping through some 1 hr video of some idiot just to find the single piece of information that I need.

The map can be viewed by clicking somewhere in the top left after hitting TAB, but it won't really help you travel.

Just click the hub of the space platform, you'll see something similar to a train schedule, that's what you use to travel.
