Hello, is there a sandbox mod in the game to test everything and anything?

theres a built in creative mode (literally called a sandbox i think) in the main menu when you start a game

There is an editor (either from the main menu or by typing /editor in the console in freeplay mode) that does most of what the old sandbox mode used to do (and a lot more, but not necessarily relevant for the stuff you used sandbox mode for).

They removed the sandbox mode with 2.0, sadly for those of us that used it.

Yes there is no more "god" mod but with the editor you can do more or less whatever you want

create a new game or use an existing game (it will disable achievements).
then in the chat/console type:

/editor

it will give you a warning the first time so you will have to use it twice.

in the editor:
the editor will pause the game, you can unpause the game by pressing [num-0] or go to the time tab and click the button.

if you want to unlock certain research, in the research screen, sellect the research, then shift+left click the start research button, it will unlock the research and all it preview researchs.

there is infinite chests to use as infinite supplies, useful with an item called loader. (omg wube, i can't believe you did not reskin the loaders haha)
