Thank you!
mostly just not a lot, 3 blue assemblers of space science was enough for me to never run out when researching stuff at around 70 to 100 spm, just let it buffer a lot in your landing pad or something.
If you set a rocket silo to auto mode, the platform will automatically request items to be sent up. i.e. Place ghosts in remote mode, including the foundations, and the platform will automatically request them from Nauvis.
Only caveat to this is that it will try to send full stacks, to fill up the rockets. So if you only want to send a few of an item up (and if you've not scaled up rocket parts production yet), manually launch rockets instead, you can also mix items, i.e. add a few of this, a few of that, till the rocket is full, then launch.
You also don't need any defences, turrets etc, if it's staying in Nauvis orbit. Only tiny asteroids in orbit above Nauvis, and they don't do any damage to platforms (turrets ignore these tiny asteroids anyway).
A Nuclear Reactor.
With 50 Water Storage Containers
and 4k Water Barrels.
What it powers my ship forever for doing everything for the first few planets.
as for the reactor thing, solar panels, batteries, all seem to not run very well when moving... especially if your using lazer turrets...
unless your using the platform for a science setup for space science you don't need this stuff tho.
since ur not going to be moving platform mostly... just making science.
