Big mod compatible with Space age?

Hello,

the new Space Age content looks interesting, but I would like to add big mods (like Bob Angel or Py) to complicate at least the beginning of the game which suddenly seems too easy when you are used to playing with mods, can you tell me if mods are already compatible?

on the "factoriomod" site we can certainly filter by version "2.0" but without specifying if it is compatible with SpaceAge or not
for example Pyanodons High Tech was updated today but is not compatible unfortunately

I don't think big mods will support SA in the near future (let's say 1 year).

The mod portal can display dependencies for each mod but there's no functionality to find mods by dependencies. So the easiest way to check is to create a grabber and parse the site. Or you can contribute to mods but some of developers don't like it.

AAI seems to work if you just want a little bit more complexity, I've been playing with that and a few other smaller mods like bob's inserters. I thought pyanodons had been updated, but I've never done a play through with those mods. space age is less complex than the space ex mod but still complex enough that it probably more than doubles the base game.

i noticed the same thing, havent played without space exploration/ k2/ aai since 1.0 and coming back to the base game feels very simple.

it seems like hes going to update space exploration for 2.0 does anyone know the time frame for that and if that means it will integrate the expansion?

Big mods take time to update. You don't know the personal situation of the modders. I'm sure people are working on stuff. And if modders are retired then someone will update or recreate popular mods.

the big mod makers may have deliberately avoided doing expansion dependant content for those who don't have the expansion.
