How do you turn those annoying chat pop ups off? they are distracting me and getting in the way of the tutorial messages.

okay so I have to close discord to stop it but I can't see an option to turn it off entirely.

Go into user settings (the cog beside your name in the lower left) and look under the notifications tab. Turn off desktop notifications.
