Is there a blueprint or some mode to flip everything selected by 180deg?
So i have made a complex link of many 4 lane belt balancers to unload a train evenly and funnel that down to an output of the standard 4 lane balancer.

Is there a way I can flip the direction of all the belts?

the undergrounds and splitters are easy, but the belts with all there twisty loops would be annoying to flip.

I think there's a mod for that, but I don't know what it's called. Try searching blueprint or flip?

Vanilla doesn't support flipping because some buildings don't support flipping (especially oil)

I'm not sure if there's a mod I have that does it, (Might be, i have a fair few and it's been ages since i played just plain vanilla factorio); But when I press R it rotates the blueprint 90 degrees, so R twice is 180. However there's no way to 'Mirror' a blueprint that i've found, even with mods; So if you need your belts to be in exactly the same place and just rotating wouldn't be good enough, you'd have to do it by hand i think.

ya its not that rotating wont work, with all the L turns some belts need to flip 3 times and some 1 time i noticed, so mirroring would be my only solution.

and rotating works, it was just a setup of over 200 belts lol. so it was faster to just rebuild it from the standard 4 lane balancer blueprint, and then just place the other belts i added after over again. lol.

You can mirror blueprints with the help of https://christoph-frick.github.io/factorio-blueprint-tools/
I'm not sure if there is a mod that does this. Part of the problem with mirroring a blueprint is the fact that some buildings aren't able to be mirrored easily. If you even have one such object that can be included in a blueprint, it prevents a blueprints in general from being mirrored.

Here's some examples of buildings that cannot be mirrored:
Oil Refineries
Chemical Plants
Pumpjacks

For these the inputs and outputs are set in stone and can't be changed. They could make it so you can swap them, but then you have the following problems.

Here's some examples of buildings who if you mirrored them actually change their functionality:
Rail signals
Chain signals
Train stops

If you mirrored these, suddenly using these blueprints, trains are driving on the wrong side of the tracks and the blueprints aren't lining up right with your rail network.

I think this is the reason why this hasn't been added to vanilla yet. It isn't an easy problem, and probably not worth the effort to work out.

That being said, if you exclude problematic items, a mod that does this wouldn't be an issue.

I don't know if these mods still exist because they stopped working with my assortment of mods and I never bothered trying to reinstall them BUT

GDIW(Gosh darnit water): Allows you to flip the input/outputs of fluid-using buildings like oilrefineries or water treatment plants (angels mods).

Blueprint flipper: Adds tools for blueprints...one of which was mirror blueprint.

But, like I said, no clue if those mods still exist OR work seeing as I never bothered checking up on them when they stopped working for me.

It doesn't just start with asymmetrical buildings. Problems arise already when you use inserters that are not perpendicular to the belt ...
