I think the demo brougth a lot of customers.
And totally useless if not used..
Checking only steam forums i see factorio at 20 something k posts, no adds that i ever seen for the game, and nms and others at 100s of k posts.
If factorio would had adds... With demo ... Multiply that player base by 1 mil... Pitty
But wube doesnt want to oversaturate thier game with those who have been "fooled" into desiring the game. They been selling for many years and just recently released thier 1.0 with a customer satisfaction score that is unbelievable.
