In this game everything works based on "crafting cycles" rather than amount created.
It is the same for machines pausing themselves for example, they don't pause with a static amount but with a number of cycles worth in the output slot.
And it's the same for the ingredients.
what is a BOGO deal?
genuine question ...I know RORO stations ... but yeah xD
what be those?
I managed to earn the "Lazy Bastard" achievement when it used to be more challenging (handcrafting a refinery -> higher tier assembler to unlock automated production line for more refineries).
Now, people are doing a 100% achievement run (including 'Lazy Bastard') in a few hours at the most (four hours and 26 minutes is the current world record as of this posting).
I am sure you will eventually realize that handcrafting an item is distinct from assembler crafting dozens of items.

Edit: darn, I was too late!

so .. yeah whole bottle .... went ... *POOF*
good thing I has pen and paper ... ah?
I get what you're saying. And I get what the devs are saying. Some things just happen to come in pairs, or sets. Even when something is called a "pair" it counts as one. The store sells shoes in pairs, and if you take them to the checkout it's one "item" on the receipt. Soda can be packaged in 4-pack, 6-pack, even 24-pack, and which ever one you pick up in the store it is still one "item" on the receipt. Take it home and open the pack and load the cooler, and it's now 4, 6, or 24 bottles, yet the receipt still shows 1 item.
For the LB count the number of times you clicked the "Craft 1" action. Wires, small power poles and belts happen to come in packs of 2, as do underground belts, but that's probably not something most folks make when trying to earn LB.. Some of the science packs even come in packs of 3. Space science come in packs of 1000!
Extra note: Check your count. Counting things your way I think the minimum is 130, not 124.
but otherwise you are correct - it is the number of craft cycles - and for one craft cycle we sometimes get 2 of various things
anyway - catch y'all soon - just popped back from someone being horrifically mean spirited and ignorant on the Evospace forum - and it was nice to pop back and engage in some simple, silly, wholesome Factorio nitpicking ;-)
not even gonna read the drama thread
i shall save that for popcorn time ;-)
If I'm right, it doesn't take more than 104 to get the achievement, Gives a little room for error
