I just bought the game because it looks quite interesting to me and I wanted to support the developers. However, I read that the game currently does not have proper Steam support yet which is supposed to be added with version 0.13 alongside some other additions.
Have the developers indicated when that release may hit Steam? The only thing I could find is this post[forums.factorio.com] on their official forums, however, it seems a bit dated, so I am unsure what the actual plans are now. I'd probably hold off with playing the game if the patch is around the corner since I am still occupied with another game at the moment and I'd rather play the game with the new features + Steamworks.
from what I have heard it still could take 2-3 months until 0.13 will be released.
The developers won't release it until everything works perfectly, so if they run into any major issues it could take longer, if everything works on the first try it could be faster.
That is all I can say regarding that question.

What are your Steam related plans for the future ? Any chance of packing the game with the following features ?
- Full controller support
- Achievements
- Trading cards
Many thanks for sharing with us the additional content you could bring to the game.
Thanks for the quick response on achievements.
I am disappointed to see that you're looking at speedrun achievements in a "game about building and creating automated factories to produce items of increasing complexity" :(
Factorio looks like a game genre of its own and I believe it would benefit from creativity on that matter. Game's on my wishlist, keep up the good work
