A thought on parametrised blueprints
I'd like to also see parametrised copy+paste supported. Meaning, the temporary blueprint created when copying can be automatically parametrised, probably with a different keybinding when copying or a toggle option. I think such a feature would be quite useful

I think it would be good, but I dont see how it would work in practice in a cohesive manner

As a simple speculation, I suspect that it's not that hard, actually, to do this. Copy as usual and "place" the copy in the quickbar, your inventory, or the blueprint book and it's instantly a blueprint. Then, presumably, it's able to be changed as any other print. Probably would make more sense anyway. If you're wanting to parameterize a "copy" it's probably destined to become a blueprint anyway.

It's not necessarily going to become a blueprint. When building with ghosts or from a distance, i use copy a lot on basic things like inserters and machines that aren't readily available in my quick select. I think a simple keybind that, when held down while a blueprint is being pasted, will bring up the parameterisation screen that allows you to change each element
A shift+rclick should set the first variable to whatever item/filter there is in the target entity as well.
