Random items showing up on belts.
My friend and I have started encountering lines of production completely gummed up by random items appearing on production line belts. We have double and triple checked to verify there is no logical way these items could have gotten onto these belts. We have not been able to actually see this happen.

After doing some research I found that this is a common problem with a mod called 'Aircraft', where, given the wrong place and wrong time, an inserter can pull an item off of a logistics drone as it is transporting it. We do not have this mod installed.

Other than the Aircraft mod has anyone else encountered this? Another mod that causes problems? Is there any way that the bounce pads from the 'Renai Transportation' mod can cause this issue?

It can happen in vanilla when you hand mine (trees or stone+coal) or pick up something and your inventory is full or if you accidentally take your armor off if you are wearing modular or better. The item(s) drop on the ground. If you don't get them all picked up and later build over those tiles the items on the ground will be moved by any belts placed on top of the items. This can make it seem as if random items are appearing and jamming your belts.

I guess this is possible, but I tend to doubt this as the cause. This is happening a dozen or more hours after completing this expansion. These belt systems have been static for quite a while. It didn't seem to start until we started heavily using the logistics bots.

If you are using storage chests and don't filter them and then auto trash or deconstruct things and your available storage space runs low logistic and construction bots will place things into storage chests that may be feeding specific things to other belts. You can solve this problem by filtering your storage chests or using passive provider chests at the end of your production chains to handle logistic requests.

If you are pressing X to swap the quickbar rows you can very easily accidentally hit z that will drop the item you were holding in your hand to where you are pointing.

The regular "a screenshot would help"
Assuming you can fit the entire belt in the screenshot.

check inserters in the last assemblers of the production line of the extra/unintended item showing up. It might be the case that the inserter is aligned onto the wrong output belt (mixed up short\long-handled inserter etc, but it might be an assembler that doesn't get used often because the output belt is 99% of the time filled by the intended item and the unintended item doesn't have room to insert itself. However, a overuse of the intended item down the line can suddenly free up room for the misaligned output and cause it to insert itself in there once in a while; this is why you probably don't see it show up for a long time.

Yellow chest without a filter set unloading onto a belt.
