So, while pretty basic, the expansions name could have done a lot worse. At least they don't call it FactoriU or so.
Since we have been doing that all along in the base game it's not really clear how the expansion is going to be different based on the title alone. On the other hand, "Beyond Nauvis" would tell the buyer that we are going to go to different planets.
Almost nobody knows what wikipedia says what the "space age" period is. What players know is that we have been sending rockets to space but haven't been in it. So space age promises a bigger focus on that part.
Question: What do you expect, what percentage of Factorio players know the word Nauvis? The name doesn't appear in the game itself (as far as I know), it is a super obscure fact that only the dedicated hardcore player base knows about. Heck, if you would have asked me a week ago what "Nauvis" is I am not sure if Factorio would come to my mind, and I am part of the tiny amount of people (tiny compared to the sales number of the game) who hang around in Factorio's steam forum.
Factorio : Extreme XXXX Space Tentacle Expansion
Factorio : Cosmoteer Edition
Factorio : Holy Potatoes, We're In Space
I googled your name and i have no idea who you are, so I am incapable of communicating with you, as I don't know your nationality nor what languages you speak.
All I know is you must be a famous NBA llayer with that kind of reach. You are overdoing yourself when it comes to complaining.
If by hater you tryed to imply i was one, you should point out where anything i said contain any hate toward Factorio.
I'm talking about how addicted people are not capable of thinking rationaly and spend money as soon as they can.
It's a fact that many people are addicted to factorio, you just need to look at their game time, and a lot of them actualy say so themself.
It's also well know that adicted people spend their money irationaly.
It's always the same with these kind of game, when someone does not say only positive things about it you'll find people complaining about "hater"...
No I was talking about the ones who hate simply to hate. Also, kinda hard for people to irrationally spend money on the game when its literally a one time purchase since the game was created, with the DLC being the first time for a second purchase. Addicted spending would be like playing a game with in-game purchases i.e. battle royal games that sell skins/cosmetics and constantly buy them, or buy into the gambling boxes they sell.
And again, anyone with at least half a brain will be able to review the FFF released every Friday, watch a trailer that will no doubt be released or watch multiple different youtubers/streamers cover the release of the DLC in order to make a "rational" purchase. You know, for the game they already enjoyed for hundreds of hours...why is it so hard to believe that maybe, just maybe, the DLC is going to be great from the get go? We aren't talking about EA releasing this are we? Cause if they bought out Wube then I agree whole heartedly on it being a bad purchase.
