i was hesitant about it when it was 20 dollars... why tf would i would i want it now?
the games looks mind-numbing and stressful on the eyes.
i would think the survival aspect would be my favorite part, but i guess i wont really know or care at this point especially at this price.

who are the price increases for? everyone who loves this game already got it for cheap... its like the opposite of good marketing and economics, demand hasn't increased and they're making it decrease with increased price, even if it goes on sale for over 50% i'm not going to be jumping for it at all.

for the people that will say "watch videos and see what ya think," i've watched videos and they're boring af... let alone i can barely follow wtf they are doing exactly.

but it is probably more fun watching someone else play it at this point and not pay for the same experience.

for the people that will say "maybe it's just not for you," is exactly why the price increases make no sense.

i don't care how much more was added to the game or not to justify them increasing the price, because i wouldn't know what that is... it seems like an excuse for the fanboys hoping to get more out of it while having others pay for it.

this game has been so out of mind for me that i can barely remember the name when looking for it, especially since how long its been out for.

This is basically why fence sitting is bad. It's been clearly stated from the start that the game will never go on sale; So there is/was ZERO reason to have sat on this game at all.

If you think you'll like it, Buy it; If you don't ignore it. You didn't think you'd like it back then when it was $20, You still don't think you'll like it now at $25, So you aren't going to buy it and you've known you aren't going to buy it for years at this point.

Your description paints yourself as someone who dislikes what they've seen of the game. And the one aspect of the game you are speculating might catch your interest isn't even a major portion of the game.

I'm not sure why you're upset (or, at least, seem to be) that Wube didn't try to trick you into paying money for a product you wouldn't want.

Yes. Its that addictive. I've had several times when I was playing before I slept and had a problem that I couldn't figure out and dreamed of moving belts and machines and came up with the solution to the problem I had while dreaming. When I woke up I fired up my game, implemented the solution, and 99% of the time it worked.

So at that point you as a buyer don't care how much it offer, you already stated the price you gonna buy it at. If 32€ is breaking your wallet then gaming might not be something you should worry about.

Considering everything you say and your taste in games judging by your reviews (which is top notch, good job, sir), this game is not for you. If it was on a sale or lowered the price, you might buy it and regret it, because even if it was a sale price, it was a bad purchase. So them NOT trying to trick/poke fence-sitters to jump in (as they state they do not want to) is good for everyone.

It seems like you are arguing from a standpoint of WANTING to be used for money with no respect for morality of it.
