constant combinator question
Been watching some vids online and see that you can use constant combinator to be a aid in showing what items go on a belt. I see them click on the combinator and put in the output signal say iron plate. and with ALT on it has the iron plate symbol over the combinator as a visual guide. When i do it however it stays blank. anyone know how to get it to work?

You need to set a value to that signal too.

Does nothing, still don't see the item symbol over the combinator.

click the symbol, set a number, and then turn it on? That's supposed to be all you need to do. Are you sure you hitting alt so that you can see product indicators?

Menu-> Settings -> Interface -> Left side under 'Alt-mode', check 'Show Combinator settings in "Alt-mode"

This is disabled by default.
