I have a bigger monitor, and I still have things go off the screen too. I ended up only using logistics chests for things the logistics robots need to move around. I don't use it, for example, for lamps, underground pipes/belts, etc.
The physical size doesn't matter, the resolution does. 1920x1080 will start to cut off your storage if it is beyond 10 lines long, you can see just over half of the 11th line.
Yes, but that doesn't effect the logistic storage itemized view at all.
The wharehouse mod is where it's at! I don't mind making the logistics chest but the wharehouse saves so much space and really lets you centralize your storage.
If you hover your mouse over a logistics chest or a roboport it will show you (on the right hand sid of the screen) the total amount per resourse in your logistics network and the total amount of robots in the robotic network, respectivly.
This is true. However if you are playing at 1920x1080 resolution then you can only see 11 lines of info.
