Wire, poles, bullets, and batteries.

Could use it for thousands of wires to make thousands of green circuits to use in the making red and blue circits for stuff that the rocket silo needs.

You will need a crapton of circuits. Better start making them.

Rule 1 of factorio: If you have 'too much' of something then your not using it enough

Rule 2.
If you have just enough to cover usage, then your not making enough :p

Rule 3.
If you think your factory is producing enough, it isn't. Look for more deposits.
Troll Norris Apr 3, 2016 @ 8:35am
Well, keep it as much as you can. In total you will need 656 890 of copper plates only for science packs.

And 1 rocket needs over 63,000 copper plates (most made into wires for the colored circuits)

Rule 4 if you think you've made the most efficient build ever, someone has already made something more efficient then yours.

Rule 5:
You will always need more conveyors, underground belts, splitters, and power poles

Seriously, just set up some assemblers to make them.
Have them load the items into a chest and set the chest to half capacity or so (click the red X then click a block). This way the assembler will keep the chest full to that amount so you have some to grab, and there will still be empty space in the chest to put any you don't use back into the chest if you need to clear space in your inventory. (you have to click and drag items into the red area, control or shift wont work)

True!

Rule 0: You simply can't have "enough" green circuits.
Gregorovitch Apr 3, 2016 @ 11:47am
To make the crapton of processing units (blue circuits) alone you will need later game you will need (per crapton):

* 2 craptons advanced circuits (red circuits)
* 20 craptones electronic circuits (green circuits)

to make 2 craptons of red circuits you require:

* 4 craptons of green circuits
* 8 craptons of copper wire

to make 24 craptons of green circuits you need:

* 72 craptons of copper wire

to make 80 craptons of copper wire you will need 40 craptons of copper plate

to make 40 craptons of copper plate you will require 40 craptons of copper ore

These are all the other things you will need copper plate for. Like most things in Factorio, the amounts required are best measured in standard craptons:

https://wiki.factorio.com/index.php?title=Copper_Plate

So pretty soon you will see your copper plate line sucked dry in seconds, your current copper ore deposit mined dry in minutes and then every copper deposit within miles of your base hoovered up within an hour or two.

"Too much bloody copper!", LOL. There's no such thing as too much of anything in this game save perhaps for Biters and even those you will need a crapton or two of to supply you with all the alien artefacts you will need :)

Actually on my first game, I dried up four different deposits of iron ore before I successfully launched the rocket, while the original deposit of copper had only been half-mined out, so it really depends on your starting point.

But yeah - measuring in standard craptons (or metric craptons if you prefer) sounds pretty reasonable.

WIRE ON A BELT?! i'm gonna hurl.

Wire is the one product I produce exclusively locally, it just demands so much throughput that I'd rather ship the plates themselves and manufacture on site.
