There is a mod, and it exists for many years, yet developers post-pone the official wagon-tank.
Well as long as it works and looks pretty no one really cares.
The oil runs out to damn fast party!
know about the mod, and I dont realy mod my early access games, in my mind the mods work as a outlet for things/ideas that can improve the base game. And thats all i want ^^,
it still runs out way too quick
I normally need like 10 pumps max
Mine are having a problem with outputing sulfur/explo/plastic/solid fuel 24/7
You need to examine your whole line and figure out where the boittle neck is. Start with whatever fluid is in stock in your refinery. This is the tricky thing about fluids, any stop in the line will back up all fluids because a single line has no capacity.
Buffering is also critical with fluids.
You do know you can use oil barrels to ship oil around once you have researched fluid handling?
Make empty barrels, fill them up from your oiljacks using an assembly machine 2.
Then ship those barrels by train/robots/belts to your processing facilities.
Feed the barrels into another assembling machine 2 to drain them into your network and send the empty barrels back to your oilfields.
No need for a liquid wagon or mods :)
I use combinators set to every tank so if oil drops to X or there is more than Y in the chests it switches the productions. My tanks are never full, always around 500, if it drops too low everything stop or when the production output is too high.
Helps a bit but it still holds my productions and importing oil from distant places is annoying and slow.
Love that comment :)
True but combinators are a pretty big hurdle to someone who is just trying to make basic fluid production and just starting the game. You have to go Pro for this.
