Good seeds?

Anyone have a good seed to share that has a good starting area with large iron, coal and copper deposits? Stone and some trees are a plus. Less enemies is good. Not peaceful is what I aim for.

It is unlikely to share seeds, we share Map Exchange Strings (Because thoose are what made for exchange.) A map generated withouth using the default setting is not considered cheating.

There is no "best seed" however. There is allways something "too much off" to be perfect for you. Here is another one I found myself, and it is my favourite:

Here's a great one with tons of resources and a defensible starting location. Its also a pretty cool map with some giant lakes nearby.

Its the general code for a generated Map. When you generate a Map that code is also generated.
Its not like Minecraft..

spawns you near loads of copper, coal and iron, and in a very defensible spot!

Thank you so much! This map is absolutely insane, in a good way. It has resources almost everywhere you step, a nice forest for wood and easy access to water for steam engine bases. Dont worry about oil either, because there is four very large oil areas pretty close to spawn. I will use this for my world.

1337 is a decent seed and the first one i've ever used.

Just so you seed-sharers realize: A seed can be quite different depending on the map generation settings you've personally made.
So when asking for a good seed, you should specify your prefered map settings, and seed provider should inform what mapgen settings the seed is connected with.
Map Exchange Strings are advised over seeds!

This. This game uses map exchange strings moreso than seeds. In fact, when a person asks for a "seed", the MES is more often what he would need.
