Clearing Conveyor Belts?

Hi,

First all: amazing game. Now, I've looked high and low about this. Sometimes during production, items on the belts get stocked up and sit there. Is there a way to pick up the items on the belts, without dismantling the belts, and indirectly picking them up like that?

I think its the "f" key that picks thing at your feet up

You can also put a storage chest and an inserter near the end of the belt to pick up the excess. if its a provider chest and you have bots the excess can be easily put to other uses without the need to clear the chest all the time. I usually do this and limit the number of spaces the chest can fill.
