Can't make solar panels in New Hope?

I decided to start 0.13 by playing through the campaign again, but when I got to the New Hope mission where you have the trains and you're supposed to fill your car with stuff, the research for Advanced Electronics is unavailable, which means Solar Panels are also unavailable, which means you can't make the 50 solar panels to satisfy the victory conditions.

Or am I doing something wrong? The only things I haven't researched are the bullet damage upgrades and the armor, but they shouldn't have anything to do with adv. electronics, should they?

That's odd. You need to research Electornics which required 30 Red Science before researching Advanced Electronics which requires 40 Red and Green Science.

Edit: It could be a bug introduced in 0.13 though, as it is experimental.

I already researched electronics. According to the tech tree, there are no other prerequisites for Advanced Electronics, but it's still unavailable.

As my slow edit in my previousm post suggested: It could be a bug introduced in 0.13 though, as it is experimental. :(

This has been fixed in 0.13.2.

  • Changed the technology prerequisite of solar panel from advanced-electronics to electronics. This also fixes the 2nd mission of the new hope campaign.

If you still have a problem with this campaign then make sure you're running the newest experimental version and explain the problem in more detail, as the problem in the first post has been fixed.
