Copy-Paste Network Settings?
So I tried to make my own circuit network today, I wanted to make it so if the accumulator power goes below 20%, the factory (except for lights and laser turrets as well as radar) shut down completely, and don't come back on until power goes up to 50%. I managed to get it to work :D.

Basically, an accumulator is attched to a decider. It outputs a value of 1 yellow if power goes below 20%. If the value of 1 yellow is recieved by an arithmatic combinator, then it multiplies it by -30 yellow and gives that signal back to the decider. Therefore, the decider, if falls below 20 yellow, it goes down an additional 30 yellow. That means in order to output a signal of 0, power in the accumulator much reach 50%. Once 50% has been reached, the signal of 0 yellow can be output again. There is another decider that outputs a different signal of 1 Green if it recieves a signal of 0 yellow. I want to hook up every inserter to the signal so they all disable if they do not recieve the 1 green. The result? Tested and proven? If power falls below 20%, then everything shuts off and doesn't turn on until power rises to 50%. 75% of the credit goes to ShredGuy99 on YouTube for having tutorials on how to use the circuit network.

But one problem has arisen; how do I tell ~4000 inserters to each turn on if they recieve the positive green signal? Can I copy and paste settings? Or would it take unprescedented legwork to set every inserter?

How do I copy and paste network settings from inserter to inserter?

shift right click to copy, shift left to paste

You can copy & paste settings with Shift Roght Click (Copy), and Shift Left Click (paste).

However, I would suggest that using a single power switch might be less tedious...

Issue with that is I would have to completely redo my power grid. I have lots of panels in the cracks and centers of my facility, or anywhere that wold otherwise by wasted space, but thank you for the suggestion.

Edit; well that would work for places where it's easier to chokepoint power such as satellite foundries and mines.

True, doesn't have to be EVERY thing in your whole base lmao.

Lawlzer, I refer you back to my thematic response, "Because I can" :-D

This is also (IMO from much forum-browsing) a game which attracts CDO personalities (it's like OCD, but the letters are in the correct order where they should be), and hence if something CAN be done and SHOULD be done, chances are it WILL be done, even if it involves 3 hours of mindless clicking on inserters.

I myself have spent the last 6 hours in-game building a new furnace array, then tearing it down and rebuilding it because, while it looked pretty, it didn't do what I wanted it to. And the damn' thing is way outside my logistics network, so I had to set up another one. And then I ran out of materials and had to go build more... in fact... my name is Acarin and I'm a Factorio addict...
