Energy Shield > Energy Shield MK2?

Energy Shield uses less energy per unit of shield restored than Energy Shield MK2. Besides the 150 capacity of the Energy Shield MK2 is there some stat I'm missing that makes it better? Maybe something hidden?

Shields mk2 are more compact. If you had a power armor with infinite slots, the shields mk1 may be more effective.

Yeah, but 10 Mk 1s take up a helluva lot more space than 1 Mk 2 :-)
