I hope the Devs of Factorio can do something about that, at least get that damn guy to change the name of his "game". I would hate to have something trying to mimic my product while being "totally different". That's like going to buy a Coke but instead of getting the popular Red can and label you can a Coke with a Blue can and tastes like lime.
You never know. Jax LTD; the makers of games such as "Sequence" decided to file a lawsuit against Iridium Studios; an Indie Developer team. Why? Because Iridium made a wonderful Rhythem DDR-esque RPG called "Sequence". (I'd link the store page but I think that'd be a bit off-topic. If anyone wants to see it, search "Before the Echo" since that is the new name)
The lawsuit essentially was put forth because "Sequence" is a major product of theirs and therefore other games associated with that name will be doing finacial harm to them. Iridium aka Jason Wishnov got some Lawyers together and attempted to battle this ... but learned that Jax Ltd. would want to draw it out and go to court. Not wanting to deal with the plethora of Court and Lawyer Fees, Wishnov decided to change the name.

^ There is a link where Wishnov alerted his Players and was answering questions and discussing it.
So ... yeah. In that instance it was an, arguably, large Company vs a single Indie Dev. In Factorio's case it'd be an Indie Dev team vs whatever tool made that Clickbait game. IMO I'd actually look into it and see what I could do Legally against that game. At the very least I'd want them to change the Name and Cover Art for that game. I mean they did steal that Cover Artwork to be used with the intent to gain Profit, pretty sure that's illegal.
In other words it's like every other F2P game? I don't think the devs have much to worry about.
